It’s official! Maggie is working on her second cookbook and we couldn’t be more excited about the new direction, a slight departure from her first cookbook, Food Gift Love {think healthy-ish, with greater emphasis on healthy than “ish”, dishes and cooking habits that have shaped Maggie’s own food journey}. It’s more than a cookbook and is certain to inspire lifestyle changes in our everyday eating habits. I’m so ready to really love food and the affect it has on my body, aren’t you?

With this in mind, we are looking for an awesome team of recipe testers to help us make this cookbook as kitchen-proof as her last one. If you are interested in cooking vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and with alternative sugars (with a few meat and cocktail recipes for good measure), and learning new techniques to develop a feel-good relationship with food than we encourage you to apply to be one of our testers.

This is what we are looking for in a Recipe Tester:

*You’re available to test 2 recipes per week until Labor Day.
*You love to cook, bake, jam, and/or pickle. All culinary skill levels are welcome, but you must love being in the kitchen.
*You find it heartbreaking when a recipe fails. (All that time. All those ingredients. Such an incredibly sad waste.)
*Your cookbooks are well-used — many filled with little notes, edits, and suggestions.
*You keep your word. Friends, family, and colleagues know that they can count on you to do what you say you will.
*You have an eye for detail and have no problem following instructions.
*You love to volunteer—there is no compensation for recipe testing (aside from Maggie’s and the Eat Boutique crew’s eternal gratitude. Remember, recipe testing is truly a labor of love.)

APPLY TO BE A RECIPE TESTER NOW

We will choose our team by Monday, July 10 and start testing that week, so all applications must be in by Sunday, July 9.
