In the Shop: Royal Rose Drink Syrups Collection

We’ve been rolling out a new line of Maker Boxes over the past few weeks, which are gift boxes sourced from a single, wonderful maker that we adore, and shipped directly from them to you. Our previous box was the Kate Bakes Bars Collection, a sampler box of vegan power bars with a short ingredient list, which is still available in the shop!

Our next box is the perfect bridal shower gift, summer hostess box, or drink master’s dream: the Royal Rose Drink Syrups Collection, available in the shop today. It’s a sweet and simple trio of strawberry-fennel, lavender and rose drink syrups, that will make any drink sparkle and add a unique touch to baked goods (try adding a few spoonfuls to cakes, cupcakes, meringues… anything, really!).

The story of Royal Rose begins in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen during a hot summer in 2010. Emily canned some ripe local peaches from the Co-op and Forrest, a former bartender with a creative side, asked if he might concoct cocktails with the leftover syrup. Emily threw in some basil, black pepper, and vanilla bean. The syrup was a runaway success, and a business was born. Royal Rose has a serious passion for cocktails, and crafts their syrups under the belief that high quality, whole ingredients make all the difference (especially between a ho-hum drink and a superior cocktail!). Every bottle of syrup is made in small batches, using whole ingredients, 100% organic and fair-trade sugar, and filtered water.

Flavors have only gotten more inventive. They puzzle and delight taste-buds simultaneously, and the three in the Royal Rose Drink Syrups Collection are some of my favorite.
