What We’re Loving: Spicy Dishes for Valentine’s Day

No Comments

Oh, Valentine’s Day, how I have loathed and loved you. I hate being told what to do (especially when it comes to showing affection for those I care about), but I love chocolate, champagne, and all the wonderful food gifts the holiday produces. This year, however, I’m skipping the sweet treats and celebrating with the “hot stuff,” as in spicy dishes that will take your breath away and become your new flame.

Several of our favorite food bloggers have come up with sizzling dishes that are sure to spice up your (or someone else’s) holiday, or any day, really.

Keep your extinguisher close with these Saucy Asian Noodles (a.k.a. Bunker Crack Slurp). {from Lady and Pups}

Turn things up another notch with these Baked Chilaquiles with Black Beans and Kale. {from The Bojon Gourmet}

Heat up your everyday dishes with this simple and completely gift-able, Homemade Harissa. {from Half Baked Harvest}

Spice up date night with these gorgeous and flavorful Xi-An Famous Hot Rice Ribbons. {from Lady and Pups}

These Spicy Chili Chocolate Cookies embody sugar and spice and everything nice. {from Completely Delicious}

Is it getting warm in here? Must be this decadent Spicy Chocolate Latte. {from Savory Simple}
