Order Your Island Creek Oysters Now, Just in Time for the Holidays

‘Tis the season for shucking, especially when it involves these briny, gorgeous, bi-valve-vy goodness! I am a huge oyster fanatic and owe that love to Island Creek Oysters, the farm with some of the best oysters in all the land. If you follow Eat Boutique, you know they’ve participated in my markets since this very beginning — they have a very sweet place in my heart — and involving them in the Eat Boutique Holiday Pop-Up Shop was an imperative, naturally.

If you’d like to celebrate the holidays in gourmet style, you should know that Boston’s beloved oyster farm will offer a 36-count or a 100-count box of fresh oysters, only available to be picked up at the Pop-Up Shop (1377 Boylston Street) on December 20 from 4-6PM. Each bag of oysters will come packed in an insulated cooler bag with food-safe frozen gel packs, making it easy to throw them in the trunk and head to your holiday party, or save them in the fridge for your Christmas Day celebration (the oysters will last about a week and a half, if you can wait that long).

IF YOU’RE IN BOSTON: To get in on this, you need to reserve a box: Order your oysters today! (You cannot pick up these amazing oysters to-go anywhere else in Boston.) We look forward to seeing you and certainly don’t mind if you shuck and sample a few while you’re visiting the shop, too. We know we will. And there may be bubbles!

IF YOU’RE OUTSIDE BOSTON: Well, that’s okay too! Island Creek Oysters also ships anywhere in the USA.
