What We’re Loving: Sangria

Ooh, ooh, ooh, it’s magic! Ya know-w-w-wwww…. This is what runs through my mind when I think about Sangria. Wine + fruit + time = Spanish genius, and a beverage that goes down far too easily.

The beauty of it is both the simplicity and endless possibility; sangria can be made red, white, or virgin (like our #4 pick). The fruit is only limited to your imagination, running the gamut from citrus to berries to melon to arugula (yes, arugula).

Of course, we wouldn’t want to limit this flavor combination to just drinks, which is why you’ll also find some delectable baked goodies and desserts on our list of Sangria recipes from around the web, starting with this classic Five Ingredient Spanish Sangria {from the Minimalist Baker}. Cheers!

Here’s a favorite white wine pick, which wins extra points for whimsy. White Wine Melon Sangria {from Laylita’s Recipes}

The Best Sangria has a bit of a twist… arugula! {from GimmeSomeOven}

Booze isn’t for everyone, so here’s a friendly non-alcoholic pick: Citrus Virgin Sangria {from A Teaspoon of Happiness}

Sangria Cake. Beautiful, tasty, CAKE. {from Eat the Love}
