With November just a day away, my heart is firmly feeling like we’re already deep into the holiday season. It’s too soon for some, but too busy for me (and the rest of the Eat Boutique team.)
We’re wrapping up all of our small batch food orders for our holiday gift box line, photographing the new products for the shop and crafting original gift boxes for our corporate clients. I know you’re busy too – trick or treating and waiting for a certain ticket to go on sale…

If you hope to attend the Holiday Market, please do not wait to purchase your ticket. We’ve fielded phone calls from folks as far away as Virginia, Ohio and Oregon (thank you!) — and we anticipate that all of our tickets will go very fast. Our VIP Admission Tickets sold out within a day last year – so if you hope to shop before the crowds, then snap up one of those asap!
Since my mantra for this year’s event is NO MORE LINES, we’ve had to rent a much larger space to accommodate everyone, so ticket prices have gone up a bit. But we’re thrilled we could still make this event happen, so come out to support the small batch food world: shop, sample and get into the holiday spirit.
I also want to encourage you to pretty please consider getting tickets for some of our very special private tasting sessions and workshops. We’re so lucky these culinary experts have offered to share their stories and super special small batch finds with you. Todd Christy of Chilmark Coffee has taken me through a coffee cupping session and, believe me, it’s eye-opening and helped me hone in on my coffee style. You can read a recap of all the sessions below, including the workshop they wrangled me into hosting on fabulous food gifts because food is, indeed, a gift! (Let’s make some food gifts together, ok?!)

Coffee roasters paving the way for fine coffee, Todd and David will lead a coffee tasting (known as a “cupping”) giving participants a behind the scenes look at techniques used by industry gurus. In this Coffee Cupping Session during Eat Boutique Boston, you’ll get to know your coffee palate, experiment with flavors, and learn new skills that will make your morning coffee sing. 12-1PM in the VIP room; 10 guests maximum. Three contemporaries will introduce you to the wines that intrigue their palates with a Winter Wine Tasting during Eat Boutique Boston. Placing authenticity above convention in the bottles they recommend, Lauren, Theresa and Lauren have collected an avid following with their love for boutique wines. Generations of winemakers from all over the world are fanatical about delivering wines of place and individual style, and these ladies will talk you through and sample the very best. 1-2PM: HOLIDAY BUBBLES TASTING with:
Savor holiday bubbles in a private tasting session and then rock New Years with Alicia’s inventive selections which you’ll learn about and discover in this Holiday Bubbles Tasting during Eat Boutique Boston. We are pretty obsessed with bubbles at Eat Boutique (every single one of us, especially at the holidays!) and Alicia is our perfect partner in sparkling wine. With her sharp palate and wicked sense of humor, she’ll float you into the afternoon on a mouth-tingling cloud of kick ass bubbles. 1-2PM in the VIP room; 10 guests maximum. Get tickets now
2-3PM: HOLIDAY FOOD GIFT WORKSHOP with:
Maggie is the ultimate food gift fanatic, having crafted food gifts for Eat Boutique and top tastemakers in the wedding, event and food worlds, and she’ll be your guide to giving easy food gifts with style. During this Holiday Food Gift Workshop at Eat Boutique Boston, Maggie will share the secrets of her holiday food gift tool box, new flavor profiles for homemade treats, and, together, you’ll assemble beautiful food gift packages like the ones you see in the Eat Boutique Shop. Maggie will also share secrets and tips from her favorite food products featured in Eat Boutique’s unforgettable gift boxes. 2-3PM in the VIP room; 10 guests maximum. Get tickets now
3-4PM: CRAFT BEER TASTING SESSION with:

Rebecca is a former self described “vodka girl” but when she made the switch to beer, she never looked back. Fresh off her stint as Beer Hall director at Thirst Boston, Rebecca’s workshop will round out your beer know-how with the latest offerings from top craft brewers. Yankee Magazine will host a talk with the winners of their first annual Editors’ Choice Food Awards to share the secrets behind their winning foods and tips for making your holiday cooking a huge success. Amy Traverso, author of The Apple Lover’s Cookbook, will moderate a talk with the founding makers behind Kayak Cookies, Dave’s Coffee, EH Chocolatier and Effie’s Homemade.
