I’m beaming and it isn’t just because the sun is supposed to finally shine in Boston after five days of rain. I’ve spent the week talking with food makers, preparing for our first ever Eat Boutique Local Market on September 24. Are you coming? Gosh, you better! I mean, we even had this snazzy flyer designed to promote our little get together. Thank you to my graphic designer friend Todd (subLoft) who designed the flyer and Heidi (White Loft Studio) who took such a perfect photo.

Our list of participating vendors is rounding out nicely, and you must sample it all. There will be amazing cookies, chocolates, caramel sauces, fine salts and flavored sugars, wine, whoopie pies, drink syrups, all sorts of nuts, cupcakes, brownies and more. How can you miss all that?

In addition, two wonderful cookbook authors will also join us for a spell, signing and selling their popular cookbooks: Amy McCoy (the Poor Girl Gourmet) will share treats and chat about gourmet food on a budget, and Joanne Chang (of Flour Bakery & Myers and Chang fame) will be at the market from 1-1:45pm… so make sure to come early if you’d like to meet Joanne!

Oh, and I’ll be there! If we haven’t met, we should. I’ll be previewing our Fall gift boxes during the event; I can’t wait to share the treats you could be sending to your friends and family this Autumn. You can see all the details on the event on our Local Market page. Just sign up to let me know you’re attending.
