What’s your favorite part of the holiday season? Besides twinkling lights dotting frosted evergreens, spending cozy time with friends and family, and my annual viewing of White Christmas as fluffy flakes drift down, I’d have to admit it’s the abundance of chocolate. Chocolate! Everything chocolate! Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, wherever you look: hot, truffled, sauced, coated, dunked, salted, spiced CHOCOLATE!

Here’s a sample of what I’ll be dreaming about, pining for, drooling over, and finding every opportunity (excuse?) to make for the next oh, 30-odd days. For more holiday food gift ideas, check out our other roundups: cookies, jam, pickles, savory baked goods, and fermented foods. Come back tomorrow for infused salts, sugars, rub mixes, and more seasoning gifts!
