What We’re Loving: Party Dips to Please a Crowd

Ok, here goes. I am not, nor have I ever been, a football fan (please don’t hate me). I am, however, a huge fan of any excuse to bring people together and eat, which is why I tend to like sporting events like the Superbowl. I mean, what’s not to like? Friends gather together over a variety of finger foods, chat over chips, and cheers with beers (apologies for the rhyme).

And, of course, we can’t talk parties without discussing dips. Some only take a few minutes to make, and are such an easy thing to bring to a friend’s house, i.e. they make a wonderful gift in a pinch. We’ve rounded up a few favorites from fabulous food bloggers that are sure to turn any sports hater into a food fan.

One of our favorite chips in dip form. This French Onion Chip Dip is sure to impress. {from My Baking Addiction}

Tahini, eggplant, and cumin become fast friends in this delightful Smoky Eggplant Dip. {from Smitten Kitchen}

This Dukkah Spiced Yogurt Dip delivers a flavorful punch without a lot of effort. {from Love and Lemons}

Gaby _ Best Guacamole

This isn’t your everyday guac, thanks to its secret ingredient this is the Best Guacamole. {from What’s Gaby Cooking}

A wonderfully spicy take on a healthy dip. You’ll love this Hummus with Jalapeno and Lime. {from Food Faith Fitness}

Ooey, gooey Baked Ricotta with Lemon, Garlic, and Chives. Let the games begin. {from The Kitchn}

    Maggie, THANK YOU – these are great options for a begrudging Super Bowl party guest (I am with you… not even Tom Brady can make me a fan) to whip up quickly! Can’t wait for your cookbook this year – I already have a list for holiday gifts!
